The home has a subtle yet enchanting ‘owl’ theme, hence the name. The owl symbolizes independent thinking, wisdom, and observant listening. With a short walk from your front door, you are at the Sandy River.
This retreat is family and dog-friendly. There are two bedrooms and a loft. The primary suite is on the main level with a queen-size adjustable bed. The king bedroom is just across the hall. There are two full baths on the main level and a half bath upstairs. Come home and enjoy preparing your favorite vacation meal with a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances. The home is set in a quiet friendly neighborhood that’s a short drive up to the mountain for summer adventures or winter activities.
With your own private hot tub with a retractable awning, you can listen to the Sandy River and enjoy a glass of wine while grilling up a delicious meal. You can spend all your time exploring the Mt Hood National Forest and in no time you are back at the lodge relaxing. Your dogs are welcome to join you at Owlpine Lodge for an additional charge

We had a great stay! Couldn’t figure out how to make the fireplace work, but that wasn’t a big deal. We loved the home and look forward to staying again sometime!

We spent three days with our family of 7 at this beautiful cabin which was located literally steps from the Sandy River. We loved the quiet secluded location and the hot tub that was available for our use. There was more than enough room and beds for everyone. The propane fireplace was nice and warm with just a turn of a switch.
The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook all of our meals with table space for everyone. We would recommend this lovely rental to all.

Lovely quiet location. Kitchen equipped fairly well. House set up was perfect for our group. Hot tub and grill much appreciated! A floor lamp in the living area would be good to brighten for reading, etc in the evening. Overall a really great place for a getaway.

1) Appreciated the phone support because the instructions for keyless entry are missing important details. Entering just the 4-digit number is not enough. You also have to press the checkmark button. You also need to include instructions on how to lock the door with the code. Don't assume everyone has used a keyless entry before or that all keyless entry inputs are the same.
2) Home was very clean! I was very impressed with that.
3) Home's decor was tastefully appointed and gave a very relaxing ambiance.
4) The updated portions of the home are great - newer carpet, furniture, slate floors, deck, shower heads, bathroom fixtures -- and the kitchen is awesome! Loved the outdoor tiki torch landscape lights and really appreciated the landscape lighting out to the river. I wish there were instructions on how to access the Sandy River from that neighborhood.
I didn't use the hot tub, but did enjoy sitting outside on the back deck reading and listening to the river. The biggest downers were the "bombs" going off during our 5-day stay. This year, there were fireworks aka explosions from afternoon to late at night. We won't be back for July 4th week again as it scared our dog so much and made the stay stressful. The personality of Tim Rim has been negatively altered since COVID with the increase of temporary rental properties. If you manage other properties in the north Tim Rim neighborhood - PLEASE warn customers of the dangers of fireworks during the summer months and not to use them! If you find the remains of the fireworks in the garbage, it could be a hefty find. It's frightening that these people use fireworks during a dry, no-burn, extreme heat alert event. People, pets, wildlife and property are all negatively impacted by fireworks and fire. We were honored to watch two barred owl fledgings test their wings during our stay. I'm sure the fireworks didn't help their experience. They left the area after two days. Such a shame!

While this place was probably too big for just me, it was wonderfully peaceful! Very quiet and loved the path to the stream. Plenty of great hikes nearby. I will definitely rent again in the winter and bring my family for heading to Mt Hood to snowboard.

We had a great time, the house was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped for our needs, the hot tub was nice. The only bummer was despite the very detailed instructions we weren't able to get the propane fireplace going, but it wasn't a big priority to us to use it. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed quality family time together in this home! Cooked a lot of food and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds AND pillows were extremely comfortable. Hot tub was super relaxing. Outdoor string lights are a nice touch! 20 mins from ski bowl (cosmic tubing was a blast).
The towel hooks in the bathrooms were super loose, I let the property management know and they were willing to send someone out immediately. But I requested they repair when we left.
