Settle in with friends and family at the Cascades Cabin in Rhododendron for a relaxing vacation. Walk to nature trails along the Sandy River and ride 2 miles to the Sandy Ridge Mountain Bike Trails. You will be just minutes to the ski areas and snow play areas. Spacious home on acreage with a huge lawn and a pond in the backyard. The wrap-around covered porch offers year-round outdoor living. After a fun day adventuring around Mt Hood, take a soak in the private, outdoor hot tub with the sounds of the Sandy River rushing by just beyond the pond and trees.

You will find it easy to prepare delicious meals in the modern kitchen with all the features you need including new appliances and equipment. The dining table seats 10 guests comfortably for meals and conversation. Retreat to the den with the large screen TV and stream your favorite shows and events with your apps. The game table is perfect for putting together puzzles and playing board games. The woodstove will keep you cozy and warm.

With 4 bedrooms upstairs, there is plenty of room for 10 guests. The primary suite includes a king bed and full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have a queen bed. The 4th spacious bedroom has 2 queen beds. There is a second full bathroom with tub and shower upstairs. The half bathroom is downstairs next to the laundry room / mud room that you can access from the back porch.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love staying at the Cascades Cabin with the large backyard, the trail to the pond and the Sandy River nature trail just a couple of minute's walk from the cabin. You can ride your bike just 3 miles down the road to the Sandy Ridge Mountain Bike Trails or go for a hike at the Barlow Wayside Park just past Sandy Ridge.

Your mature dog is welcome to join you for an additional charge.

Beautiful Retreat to the Mountain

This was a new listing and had no reviews when I booked but so glad I did. Everything was super clean and comfy. Kids loved the hot tub (water was a tad green). Kitchen was well stocked and we also loved that we could bring up to two dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Most welcoming especially with inside lights on, just need to add a few added kitchen items for folks serious about cooking ie a potato masher and or hand mixer and few more cooking utensils. Well equipped with dishes and glasses and silverware best I have ever encountered on the personal kitchen ware. Thanks we had a great time and the accommodation was prefect

Cascades Cabin Spring Weekend

The property was perfect for 4-5 couples for a weekend spent playing games, making and eating food, and enjoying the hot tub. The property is VERY nicely renovated and decorated, SUPER clean, well-stocked with kitchenware and glass/dinnerware. The hot tub was perfectly functional and clean. The appliances were all newer models, and all spotless. The driveway was spacious enough for 6-7 vehicles; not sure why the rental agency was so insistent on a max of 3. The neighbors are relatively close, though, and have barking dogs; the hot tub is not quite as private as it might appear from the pictures. The neighborhood is a little shabby getting there, but the house and neighboring properties are quite nice. The outdoor grill was clean, but we did not use it. The wraparound porch was fantastic, and we'd have used it more, but the weather was chilly/rainy, and we spent the bulk of our weekend indoors. The coded door locks made for a perfectly smooth, contactless check-in/check-out, and everything was clear up front (except for the lock on the hot tub, which necessitated a phone call). 100% satisfied, would rent again for a similar sized party.
