Very nice place! Fire ring located down by the river. Had a nice relaxing time. Very close to hiking..went hiking every day and relaxed by fire and hot tub at night. Very clean, cozy and cute place. Would stay here again.
It is good to hear you enjoyed the Salmon River Retreat so much. It is one of our favorite summertime vacation rentals with the deck, BBQ and firepit right next to the river.

The Salmon River Retreat was just the place we were looking for. Although it is quite hard to say anything negative about this place, when we got there the hot tub wasn’t working. We called and tried everything the office told us but we’re unable to get it working. Which was a bummer because that’s the main reason we booked the place and it kinda sucked watching the people across the river enjoy their hot tub while we couldn’t. We kinda felt like it hadn’t even been check before our arrival because the water was low and looked kinda dirty. Other than that the place is great! Super close to the river, beautiful trees, comfortable furniture, all the kitchen utensils one could need. Was a short drive to the mountain, food and groceries so that was nice. Overall was a very nice stay.
We are so glad you enjoyed the Salmon River Retreat. We regret that there were issues with the hot tub when you were there. We have had it looked at and the homeowners have decided to buy a new hot tub instead of repairing this one. We are excited that our guests will be able to enjoy a brand new hot tub.

My friends and I have stayed at Salmon River Retreat numerous times and have always been very satisfied. The setting is gorgeous, the facilities have everything you could possibly need. A great spot for some R&R from our daily lives.
One suggestion would be to label the remotes for the TV/video/audio equipment. We've almost always had trouble figuring out how to use the above. Instructions on how to use each would be helpful for us non-tech savvy folks.
Thank you for your repeat business; we appreciate it and thank you for the tip about keeping the remotes straight.
