Top 10 Favorite Winter Activities when Staying in a Mt Hood Vacation Rental
Posted by Mt Hood Vacation Rentals | Thursday, December 10, 2009
Guests of Mt Hood Vacation Rentals shared a long and varied list of winter activities they enjoy when they stay at Mt Hood in a recent survey. Surprisingly, most of these activities have nothing to do with snow or outdoor recreation. We asked our guests to rate 25 activities as "I love doing this!", "I like doing this!" or "Not interested".
The top 10 winter activities our guests enjoy are:
- Sitting in the Hot Tub
- Sitting by the Fireplace
- Eating
- Drinking Good Wine
- Hiking (huh? in the snow?)
- Reading a Good Book
- Going Out to Eat
- Downhill Skiing
- Playing Board Games
- Playing Cards
It's a good thing that Mt Hood Vacation Rentals are perfect for enjoying all of the above activities. Most of our homes have private, outdoor hot tubs and they all have fireplaces or woodstoves. And of course the fully furnished kitchens which include all of the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you need, not to mention wine openers and wine glasses make it easy to eat, drink and be merry!

Another interesting thing you told us is that you would prefer to travel with friends over family.
71.4% travel with friends
64.3% travel with their children
42.9% travel with their husband or extended family
35.7% travel with their dog
23.8% travel with their wife
