According to a recent survey by TripAdvisor, 83% of Travelers Surveyed Would Stay at a Vacation Rental Over Other Accommodations This Winter to Get a Better Deal

"NEWTON, Mass. â December 17, 2009 /PRNewswire/ â TripAdvisor®, the worldâs most trusted source of travel advice, announced the results of a recent survey. Whether travelers are looking to hit the ski slopes or relax on the beach this winter, vacation rentals provide an appealing accommodation option for those searching for better value and more living space.

A recent TripAdvisor survey of more than 1,000 U.S. travelers found that 83 percent of respondents would stay at a vacation rental rather than a hotel or B&B for a winter leisure trip if they could get a better deal. In addition, when asked what factor would make them the most likely to stay at a vacation rental this winter, 37 percent cited low prices, 27 percent said a good location and 16 percent said more amenities."

Mt Hood Vacation Rentals offer several amenities that you just won't find in a hotel room or at a resort.

First, all of our vacation homes have fully equipped kitchens with appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, stove top, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, mixer, waffle iron).  And each home has an extenisve list of pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils for preparing just about any meal you can think of, even a holiday spread.

Additionally, all of our homes include a fireplace or woodstove, entertainment center with TV, DVD player, stereo and cable or satellite, phone with unlimited long distance and wifi.  Most homes also have a private outdoor hot tub, too.

And you will have plenty of room to spread out with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms plus living rooms and family rooms.  The average hotel room is about 300 square feet.  Many Mt Hood Vacation Rentals are over 2000 square feet.
All homes are non-smoking and many are pet-friendly, too.  Most hotels and resorts won't let you bring the family dog along on vacation.
The best benefit of staying in a vacation rental home is that the home is in a setting that becomes the destination.  Imagine sitting in front of the fireplace in the great room and looking out the windows and watching the Salmon River flow by with snow topped mountains in the background.  And if you decide to venture out, your are just minutes from ski and snowboard resorts, sledding hills and restaurants and shopping.
Guests of Mt Hood Vacation Rentals enjoy the privilege of purchasing discounted lift tickets for Mt Hood Meadows, Timberline and Mt Hood SkiBowl, too.
