We recently surveyed over 2000 past guests of Mt Hood Vacation Rentals and asked them why they visit the Villages of Mt Hood and what they like best about Mt Hood Vacation Rentals.

 
The top 5 features of a Mt Hood Vacation Rental that our guests are looking for when they make a reservation are:

  • Fireplace
  • Cabin
  • Secluded & Riverfront (tied for 5th place)
We know that with the current economy, more people like the idea of cooking in their vacation rental these days. In the past, they probably went out for some of their meals. The fully-equipped kitchen is especially nice for families who want to feed the kids something different than the adults or large groups who want to prepare a sumptuous feast. These results confirm that our guests like cabins with nice kitchens, fireplaces and private outdoor hot tubs in secluded, riverfront locations.

We were surprised to note that out of 30 listed reasons to visit, all of the other reasons barely rated. It appears that an occasion such as a birthday or activities such as hiking are secondary to just getting away from it all. This tell us that our guests appreciate that our homes are quiet, restful retreats that are easy to relax in.

One of our open-ended questions was, "What is the one thing we do best?" Repeatedly we were applauded for our extraordinarily great customer service (65% of the answers).
