Leilani Cottage
Leilani Cottage is a 2019 custom built riverfront cabin crafted by 3rd generation family members to continue the memories made here for decades. You will create life-long memories, too, whether relaxing by the river or in the hot tub or reclining in the great room with a good book and a glass of wine. The gourmet kitchen includes a gas cooktop, top-of-the-line cookware and all of the extras you need to prepare a fabulous meal. Grill out on the gas BBQ on the riverside deck year-round.
Your dogs are welcome to join you here and they will love playing on the sandy beach by the river or taking walks on the gated, dead-end road. You will be close to dozens of miles of hiking and biking trails just minutes from the front door. Or just take a quiet, leisurely walk down the road. There are other cabins on the lane, but with the trees, you will feel a sense of seclusion while at Leilani Cottage.
Leilani Cottage is best suited for a romantic retreat to Mt Hood with the primary suite including the king bed topped with a 2-inch thick faux-feather bed and the en-suite bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and rain shower head. Two additional guests can be accommodated in the queen Murphy bed in the great room for small families or two couples.

What a wonderful property. I loved all of the windows, it was as if nature wrapped its arms around you. The peaceful sound of the river took my mind off the hustle and bustle of the city life, and the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

This is beautiful cottage. We happened to be there after a huge snowfall but still enjoyed listening to the river. Walking along the lane was a bit difficult due to ice but the dog still played in the woods. I was disappointed there wasn't a coffee maker that worked. If possible it would be great to have the back porch cleared of snow to make it usable. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great!

The house was great, way better than I had expected. It was well stocked and clean. Hot tub was great too! We had a storm while we were there, and power was out for 2 full days. There is a generator, but that doesn't help with internet. Unfortunately I still had to work. This wasn't a vacation. As long as you are ok with that risk, it's a great place!

Beautiful Setting, Cozy, Convenient

We stayed in the Leilani Cottage over Christmas week. It was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed (minus food). The river is gorgeous and the hot tub is perfect. Government Camp is a short 15-20 minute drive up the mountain, and there are plenty of restaurants and stores with necessities within 6 minutes of the house. For a family of 3, it was a perfect size and a wonderfully relaxing getaway, it even snowed on Christmas morning!!
Two suggestions to improve the cottage:
1. Light the path to the fire pit by the river
2. Place paving stones in the rocks leading to the hot tub (those rocks are sharp!)

Lovely Get-away Cottage

This cottage is tucked away via a private entrance on Mt. Hood. The Sandy River is at the end of the backyard, and the land is spotless (no trash!). Everything was clean and comfortable; we didn't want to leave, and we'll definitely be back. There was plenty of kitchen gear to do all kinds of cooking, and the water pressure is great throughout.

This is theee most peaceful place I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed at alot of Mt Hood Vacation homes. The house is filled with high end fixtures and appliances and not to mention one of the best hot tubes! You also can check out from reality on your own private beach, where you can enjoy the sounds of the Zig Zag River. I can’t say enough about this place and look forward to our next stay!
