The Rapid River Reteat is in a very quiet location, easy to relax here.
Everyone had a marvelous time. It was conveniently located to little shops, groceries, snow activities and Mt. Hood.
Our family of 5 (with three young kids) stayed at Rapid River Retreat over Thanksgiving 2009. The reservation process was a breeze, the staff super friendly and helpful, the house beautiful and comfortable, the river view from the kitchen/eating area lovely, and proximity to skiing and sledding great. We prepared our TGiving meal at the house and found the kitchen to be very well stocked. This could not have been a better weekend for our family-the house was comfortable and made it very easy and fun to spend time together over the holiday.

Beautiful river setting. Very nice master bedroom and children's rooms. Very nice kitchen, great layout, great use of space...(dull knives) Great hot tub and wonderful landing with game table. We booked this property only because of the kindness of the management company and would only come back to them.

I was attending the 2009 Search and Rescue Convention held on Mt Hood. With a last minute change in my schedule, the room I had was lost to another speaker. I contacted the folks as Mt Hood Vacation rentals. I found them to be extreamly helpful with last minute accomadations. To my surprise I arrived to find one of the truly most serene and enjoyable properties Ive been to. It was neat as a pin, the heat was on, The firewood stacked at the door. Couldnt of asked for anything more. Call this company if you have a need for Accomidations on Mt Hood, and want first class customer service and housing.

House was beautiful. Beds and couches were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. View beautiful. Perfect!

This was just the most gorgeous cabin. I got lots done (work brought with me) and I was inspired the whole time. Excellent!
A perfect mountain cabin beside rushing mountain stream. 'Cabin' may be misleading....was modern home with cathedral ceilings and gorgeous views of stream and rising hills in background. Outside hot tub perfect for occassional dips beside strem, yet private. 3 bedrooms, but perfect for romantic getaway for couple.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin!
The house was wonderful and the view amazing. We were want for nothing. Soaking in the hot tub with the snow falling all around us was a highlight of our stay. See 'ya next year!

Well designed, beautifully built, extraordinary views from all rooms,a cook's kitchen.... What can we say? It was perfect, and I could bring the dog!!
A gorgeous home in a wooded setting right on the river. All the comforts of home and well appointed. The washer and dryer are in need of service and/or replacement, but no other flaws. I highly recommend this home!
We had a great vacation. Being that this was a pet friendly home, we found dog hair in places we'd rather not. There was also, a bit of a heat wave the last 2 days of our stay and the a/c wasn't up to par with our Texas standards. Everything else about this home was above and beyond. Thanks.
Our recent 4 day stay at Rapid River Retreat was a splendid stay. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. The air was so fresh and wonderful. The sound of the river soothed away any tensions that were built up from everyday living in the city.
This place was magnificent. The only thing that I thought was odd was the lack of wildlife at the location.I couldn't hear or see any birds or squirrels nor chipmunks. Maybe the Sandy River's rapidness scared the animals away! It still is a beautiful place.
This house far exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful and in an amazing location on the river. Not to mention the hot tub.
The Rapid River Retreat is a beautiful home. The open floor plan is great for our large family. The property around the home is incredible as well. This was our second time there and this time we enjoyed several feet of snow. The road in was kept plowed for easy access in spite of the large amount of snow.
A place where I can bring my dogs, live in luxury with every amenity, and feel like I've really gotten away from it all ... it's the best!
The Rapid River Retreat turned into a perfect getaway for my family. The property was very clean, bright, and spacious with a great location on the river. We enjoyed relaxing and playing games in the house and out on the deck, skipping stones in the river, the hot tub and a couple of rounds of golf in nearby Welches. It's in a very quiet location with easy access to Lolo Pass Road. I highly recommend it.
We love the location. The new decks and hot tub area is beautiful. The house needs a thorough deep cleaning around the edges of the room, dusting is needed everywhere. When we rented the first time, a few years back, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. This time the knives were so dull as to be dangerous, there were few gourmet touches for serving etc.
shower door was not working right (off the tracks--) shelf in refrigerator was loose, needed instructions about the flu in the fireplace, also we recieved several calls (early am)about them needing to pay the electric bill. but for the most part it was good
Thank you for the feedback on the items that were not working properly at the rental home. We will take care of them right away.
We showed up a little early and was put off till 4pm or maybe a little after. First time I have ever been delayed so much in checking in.
We will make every effort to check guests in early if the rental home is available. Unfortunately, the day of your arrival, the home was not available until your normal check in time of 4 PM. Hopefully, you enjoyed a restaurant, or shopping or a walk at Wildwood Park while you were waiting for the Rapid River Retreat to be ready for your arrival. Betsy
Just wanted to let you know there is some mold damage/growth under the kitchen sink. Also one of the shelves in the refrigerator was broken on one side.Overall our stay was great!. Just wanted to let you know about these maintanence items.
