This rental process and property was truly fantastic from start to finish. The Mt. Hood Vacation Rentals team were super helpful in choosing the home, working to ensure we would be happy based on what we were going to do across different interests in our party. The home was well taken care of and well stocked. Everything was comfortable and clean as well as bright and shiny. The stream behind the house was beautiful (what a refreshing sound). After a couple of minor issues at check-in (water and heat) were resolved we were off to the races. The area is within 20-30 minutes from Mt. Hood (Timberline and SkiBowl) and it really did not seem like too far for daily drives out to the mountain to ski. The well-stocked Grocery store was minutes away (drive or walk). We would definitely stay again and use MHVR!

We had a much needed couples retreat prior to some big life events. We got all of what we needed with the big kitchen, nice bedrooms, outdoors and great location. Easy journey to hike trillium lake, river is right behind house and bbq on the deck. The house was clean and had everything we needed. In the winter I recommend the wood stove it was sooo cozy and they supplied the wood which was fantastic. The living rooms high ceiling makes for great acoustics for anyone looking to bring a guitar, uke and singing. Such a special stay!
Thank you and we will be back!)
So glad you enjoyed your stay at the Sandy River Retreat. How nice that you could enjoy playing your music in the great room.

The snow was awesome and very tall trees danced in the wind, warm and cozy beds with lots of pillows and the raging Sandy River that could be heard everywhere. Fires snapped and comforted. So many activities minutes away. Beautiful house.
Wow, we love hearing that your visit to the Sandy River Retreat was so wonderful. We love the setting with the wind in the trees and the roaring river, too.
