  Beautiful home. Serene. Loved sitting on the front porch listening to the sounds of nature and enjoying the beauty. Enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen and eating by a roaring fire. Will be back for sure.

  My spouse, dog and I stayed at the Two Rivers Cottage for 6 nights in early May 2013 after a very stressful period at work. It was exactly what I needed!
  
  This cabin is incredible. Its secluded, has a great yard for the pup (although seemed smaller than the advertised 4 acres), very nicely decorated and beautiful well stocked kitchen. There are so many different places to sit and hang out in the cabin. I could see it being a bit too comfy with more than two couples though.
  
  We road and mountain biked from the cabin, but also drove to other trails. We have abnormally warm weather for May and the trails in the area were free of snow, although up at Government camp there was still snow. Sandy Ridge Trail park nearby was incredibly fun! I also rode Dog River on the other side of Government Camp, Pioneer Bridle trail and Salmon River Trail (my favourite and not too far away). I also had a great trail run on the Still Creek trail. My partner road biked up Lolo pass from the cabin several times.
  I don't really have any negatives to say, I want to come back here for all my future vacations!

  The cabin was warm and cozy. Plenty of yard to enjoy and the nearby rivers provide the feeling of being deep in the woods. Only two bedrooms in the cabin tho. The 3rd couple had to sleep on the pull out couch.

  The Two Rivers Cottage was really great for a family ski vacation. Dog friendly, spacious and clean. We had a wonderful time and really nothing we would change other than the need for a light over the hot tub. There was ample firewood, though the batch we had seemed a little green and was hard to get going (a bellows perhaps?) Other than that - everything was better than expected and very relaxing. A great setting and house. We will be back!

  I came out here with a few friends for my birthday and it was...BREATHTAKING. The cabin rests right on the river, is pretty secluded & the cabin is fully stocked and GORGEOUS. Though money was tight, I'm glad I saved up to make this happen as it was SO worth it to be sittin gin the hot tub with snow falling on our faces & unexpected stars above our heads. I'd HIGHLY recommend spending extra for this spot :) The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was that there were no hiking options but eh, everything else was a dream :)

  We had a great time at this vacation home. It was so secluded and quiet. The constant sound of the river was lovely. Our baby loved the baby swing out in the yard and the little walks we took on the property (which there was a lot of). Overall it was great! If you plan on cooking a lot, bring your own spices from home as the house encourages you to leave nothing from your stay and there truly is nothing in the way of spices, cooking oil, cooking spray, etc.

  If you are looking for complete seclusion, and I mean COMPLETE!, this is the cabin for you! Very few cabins give us the sense of being away from it all, and provide us with a level of security that enables us to let our boys (11 & 12) virtually run free on the property. Two Rivers does just that. You felt as though you were in the middle of nowhere. (except for the fact that highway 26 is just above the property). Speaking of that, the highway is NOT an issue and unless you really try and listen for the sounds of the cars, I promise the sounds of the rivers will lull you to sleep.
  This cabin is very comfortable. In fact, the beds are the most comfortable we have found and we have been renting cabins since 2007.
  No for the "quirky" parts.
  -There is no bathroom on the second floor where the bedrooms are.
  -The washer and dryer are in the garage
  -You will be charged if you decide/need to use the "suite" over the garage.
  -This cabin is fairly new to this management agency, so it does not have that seasoned feel. What I mean by that is that you will not find a lot of things left behind (in a good way), by previous guests. Things like pepper, odd spices, flour, baking soda. This is partially due to management who has decided to EMPTY OUT the cabins after every guest leaves. NOT A GOOD MOVE! I like finding odd spices that I can use to cook trout.
  -The neighbors at the SANDY SALMON hate the guests that stay at this cabin. They had the nerve to approach us an tell us (with our two kids there) "Don't walk on our grass" to get to the river.
  -There are no DVD's. Not that we watch them.
  All in all, we would return and would recommend the TWO RIVERS CABIN.

  The location was outstanding! Right on the river, very comfortable, incredibly relaxing and private! I would and will take my family to this home again. My only complaint was the coffee maker didn't work. =(

  Two Rivers Cabin was a great get away for 4 adults and 1 infant. The cabin is also dog friendly which is nice. The cabin had everything we needed for our extended weekend stay. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of outdoor furniture, and comfortable living room. It's important to note that the second bedroom's bed is in an alcove so you need to be able to climb in and out of bed. Only bathroom is downstairs. It was in a private location and along the river. Very relaxing and quiet. River pretty difficult to access from house for fishing. However fishing holes in walking distance. My only low mark was for cleanliness. The cabin was clean but could have been cleaner on front of kitchen cabinets, fridge and bath cabinets. Mt Hood Vacation Rentals was very helpful in finding us a cabin that fit our needs. We would stay here again.

  We just fell in love with the charming Two Rivers Cottage. It exceeded our expectations. We did not want to leave the place, it’s so relaxing and comfortable. All you hear is the river even inside. The property is very private and secluded. The only thing to mention that HW26 is just above the property on the hill). But the river is so loud that you hardly hear the noise so it didn’t bother us at all. The kitchen has everything you need – even waffle maker and coffee grinder!Can’t wait to be back! Thank you for a wonderful time.
